Wilson vs. Obama on Armistice Day
Overall, Obama, unlike Wilson, came into his presidency when America had an established leadership position in the world. Whereas Wilson avoided an existing war in the face of an enemy clearly interested in its demise, Obama chooses not to lead against an enemy while the world waits for America to make the first move. In both scenarios, American involvement is key and yet in both scenarios, the American leader does not want America involved.

These veteran “occupiers” seem to just be upset with themselves and putting shame on the ideals they served to protect.

There’s this overriding theme to liberal defense blogs and liberal defense commentators, and it kind of feels like a cross between contempt and dissatisfaction, even while purporting to be supportive of America’s military and the freedoms we stand for.
